Fashion Show
Our ladies in red were ready and waiting for the Fashion Show attendees on Saturday
morning. New Horizons provided vans that shuttled the ladies from the golf
course to the Convention Center. Every lady with an arm band was welcome and the
room filled up very quickly. As each woman entered the Convention Center, they
were given a ticket for a door prize drawing that included many nice gifts.
There were also optional raffle tickets on sale for additional prizes which
included a gold nugget bracelet. Once again, there were several groups of ladies who were trying to outdo each other with their wild
hats and costumes. Be part of this fun loving group next year and see if you can
come up with something to top these wild women.
In addition to the nice clothes that were being shown, entertainment was provided
and Cathy M (one of the "Crazy Ladies" from Redondo Beach, CA)
couldn't restrain herself when the tall performer did a song by Elvis. The room
erupted in laughter and women came running out of the rest room asking
"what happened?"
As the show came to a close, Liz Steele drew numbers for the raffle prizes
and Mary Ann Daidone from Bullhead City, AZ was the lucky winner of the gold
bracelet.
For you ladies who will be attending the Run next year, and
want to get away from looking at cars for a couple of hours, be sure to add this very
