LETTERS OF APPRECIATION

Following are some of the letters we have received by mail and E-mail about the 2001 Run. If you attended, we welcome your comments too.

To all Relics & Rods Members,

Another year and Run to the Sun has gone.  And it was a success as far as we're concerned.  As usual, we had a great time from the Wednesday kick off to the awards being handed out.  It was a great place to have the kick off and the evening was perfect temperature.  We couldn't believe the number of cars that were there.  The quality of cars this year is a reflection of the quality of the event. The amount of effort your club puts into the show makes it one of our favorites.  The food at the banquet (we went Friday night) was excellent.  Its amazing how many people you fed and how smooth it went.  We had seven cars and 14 people, and everyone had fun.  Again we would like to thank the Relics & Rods Members for making this a fun and enjoyable show.  We're already looking forward to next year.

Thanks everyone,

Again I had the best time, and you couldn't have asked for any better weather. I enjoyed the fashion show a lot. I was one of the silly ladies dressed for the occasion, (hats and gloves). Our group is already planning on something new to surprise you all at the next show. I know you have already begun your planning too. Thanks for the FUN.

WE JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FUN WE HAD AT YOUR RUN. SEEMS  LIKE EVERY YEAR YOU OUT DO YOURSELVES. FROM THE KICKOFF PARTY TO THE PARADE. THE CARS WERE HIGH QUALITY AND THE PARTICIPANTS WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THE SHOW WAS VERY WELL ORGANIZED AND WE ENJOYED THE FIVE DAYS TREMENDOUSLY. MY CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE RED SHIRTS AND YOUR CLUB FOR A WONDERFUL TIME.

Thank you Relics & Rods for another great run.

We have been coming to your event for the last ten years and have always had a wonderful time. We always tell our friends about your event and encourage them to come also.

We have been coming to the river and Lake Havasu since the late 60's, but our participation in Run to the Sun finally made us take a harder look at the area and resulted in the purchase of our second home in Lake Havasu City.

We look forward to next year's run!

Thanks from the Arizona Classic Thunderbird Club.  We had a great time

Well here we are back in Canada after our big adventure across the USA. This was quite an experience for us, traveling across the country in our street rod. We had never done this before. We had a great time everywhere, but especially enjoyed our visit to Lake Havasu City, and participating in the Run to the Sun.

It was so exciting for us to win the award for our class, something we weren't expecting as there were so many great cars to choose from. Our Kachina has a very special place in our home and is a very treasured award.

We would like to thank all the members of your club for everything they did to make us feel welcome in Lake Havasu City.  Everyone was so friendly and helpful to us. We cannot say enough about our American friends. You are all very special people. Thank you again for everything.

Take care and God Bless
