Fashion Show
Our ladies in red were ready and waiting for the Fashion Show attendees on Saturday
morning. New Horizons provided two vans that shuttled the ladies from the golf
course to the Convention Center. Every lady with an arm band was welcome and
over 300 attended this year. As they entered the Convention Center, each lady
was given a ticket for a door prize drawing that included many nice gifts.
There were also optional raffle tickets on sale for four additional prizes, a diamond bracelet, a large
Kachina, a men's Fossil watch and a freshwater pearl and coral necklace.
The room filled quickly and there was something going on with
several groups of ladies who were trying to outdo each other with their wild
hats and costumes. Be part of this fun loving group next year and see if you can
come up with something to top the "Crazy Girls", as they call
themselves.
Entertainment was provided by the Dixie Belles
For you ladies who will be attending the Run next year, and
want to get away from looking at cars for a couple of hours, be sure to add this very
popular part of our Run to your list of things to do while in Lake Havasu
City.
