Goody Bag Night
This year as we were preparing to go to the
Nautical Inn Conference Center to pack goody bags, the clouds were
gathering. That didn't stop our dedicated members from proceeding to this annual
event that prepares us for the days ahead. In addition to packing the
goody bags, we had our annual prayer session that the weather
would be good for our Run.
Two lines were formed and bags were passed down the line while each person
would add the items on the table in front of them to the bags.
After the last bag was packed, our President, Tom Hopple,
thanked everyone for coming and assured us that the weather was going to be good
this year. Just about that time, the sky cut loose and we drove home in the
rain.
We're glad the weather gods got that out of their system and now we're
ready......
Let the Run begin!
