Concert
After Friday night's banquet in the Convention Center, it was time for the
Concert in Lake Havasu City's Aquatic/Community Center. Vans were available to
transport hundreds of rodders to Relics & Rods Hall for a
concert by The Tornadoes, a Surfing Hall of Fame band.

the above photos)
The dance floor was busy all night as the band played on.
Tables and chairs were set up all around the hall for people to sit and visit, or
rest up, while they waited for another song that moved them back to their
feet.

Fashion Show
Saturday morning's Fashion
Show, put on by the female members of Relics & Rods, was held in the London Bridge Resort's Convention
Center. Our "Crew" was ready for the event and the ladies in
attendance were in a festive mood.
There were goodies to munch on as well as coffee and tea to get the
morning started.
Each participant received a ticket at the door for some nice
prizes that were given away. There was also an optional raffle for jewelry and
other items and tickets were sold at the door.

Before the show started, the women were looking at the items to
be raffled and as they worked their way through the line, they selected the
boxes they wanted to put their tickets in. If their number was drawn, they won
that item.

This year's theme contest was Best Pajamas and many of the women in
attendance were dressed for the occasion.

Next was the fashion show and club member Nancy Warner handled
the MC duties (in her PJ's too).

J.C. Penny provided many of the fashions for this year's show,
along with some other local shops.

Between changes by the models, the door prize drawings were held and prizes
were delivered to the tables by some volunteer runners.

As it is with all the events associated with Run to the Sun, the proceeds from
the Fashion Show are donated to local charities and we appreciate the support
of our sponsors and participants.
