Goody Bag Night

Monday was a perfect Lake Havasu City day and we were looking forward to
good weather all week. Our members met at the London Bridge Resort's Convention Center,
where most of the activities would take place during the Run.
This year, we gave away cloth goody bags that had 30th Anniversary - Run to
the Sun screen printed on them.
As members appeared, they could pick up their red shirts that are worn while
working the Run. Each member also received an event shirt, like the participants
get, after the last goody bag was packed.
Our "assembly line" went to work and 1,000 goody bags were packed.
Other members stood by to feed the line and move the packed bags to our storage
room down the hall. We were now ready and looking forward to Wednesday, the
official start of our 30th Run to the Sun.
