Fashion Show
Every year the Fashion Show is a big hit with Run to the Sun ladies. With
the convention center filled with tables, the event started at 10:00 AM. There
were goodies to munch on and coffee to get things started off.
MC Tinalee Whelchel provided details about what the models were wearing as
they strolled down the runway and around the room.
When a group of rodderettes tried to out-do each other with their outrageous
outfits several years ago, a trend was started. Now our Fashion Show has a theme
each year. Last year it was a pajama party and this year it was "Dress Like
Your Ride". This produced some interesting outfits since there were no
rules to follow.
Some nice gifts were given as door prizes and there was also a raffle for
the items on display.
Suggestions for next year's theme are welcome and we hope all the ladies had
a great time at their part of our Run.
