Relics & Rods Club Info and Activities

Relics & Rods is a family club open to anyone with an interest in old cars. Prospective members must be sponsored by a current member and must attend 3 membership meetings before being voted on. Meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday of the month in the Relics & Rods Hall at the Aquatic Center.

The club has cruise nights on Wednesdays at various local restaurants. Come join us to meet some of our members and find out more about our club. For questions about our cruise night schedule, E-mail us or call (928) 855-0933.

Our annual fund raiser is Run to the Sun, held each year on the next to last weekend of October. All proceeds from this event are donated to local charities. In addition to the charities we support, we also award scholarships to graduating High School Seniors and we provide presents to needy families at Christmas.

Golden Rule AwardAwards

In 1998, Relics & Rods received a Golden Rule Award from Eagle One for Best Community Service in their Western Region. 

The proceeds from our annual Run to the Sun car show are donated to local charities.

Cruise Night

Cruise Nights are held weekly on Wednesday. We are currently going to various locations around town for dinner. Call (928) 855-0933 or send an E-mail if you'll be in town on one of those nights and want to see where we'll be.

One of our fun activities is an occasional Poker Run to parts unknown.

Highway Clean-up

Arizona DOT Highway Cleanup SignRelics & Rods club members maintain a 2 mile stretch of Arizona State Highway 95, from milepost 186 to milepost 188, on the north end of Lake Havasu City near the airport. Highway cleanup happens twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. If you are traveling south from Interstate 40, look for our sign after you pass the the Mall and Home Depot. If it's in the spring or fall, look for our members in their orange vests.

Special Outings

Ford's Arizona Proving GroundRelics & Rods were invited to show our cars at the Ford Motor Company's open house at their Arizona Proving Ground in Yucca, AZ.
